I love doing both schools for DYW. They both do their programs uniquely different and both are ran wonderfully!
As a tradition at Snake River they do photos with their mothers. What a pivotal time in each of their lives to have this special keepsake.
Right after we get done shooting I sit down with each of them and we go through all their images. They get to pick their favorites! This is something I do with every client. I have a great system to help my clients choose their images. I can pull up one or two images at a time side by side and we compare and whittle it down to the very best!
My process is much different then alot of photographers now days. I'm old school and I value quality over quantity. I'm not saying one is right or wrong, this is what works best for me so i can focus on the quality i want. I prefer to deliver a select number of beautiful hand retouched images. I like them to look polished and beautiful while still keeping the integrity of my client and a real photograph. I aim for an image that will stand the test of time!
